Xact Metal, State College, Pennsylvania, USA, has announced a sales and service partnership with Varinex, headquartered in Budapest, in order to expand access to affordable metal Additive Manufacturing in Hungary.

“At Xact Metal, we’re establishing a new level of price and performance in metal 3D printing by taking the essential specs of metal Additive Manufacturing and combining them with breakthrough technology,” stated Juan Mario Gomez, CEO of Xact Metal. “We are pleased to partner with Varinex in Hungary, one of the top industrial economies in eastern Europe. Varinex’s strong product line of industrial 3D printers and their application expertise across many industries will enable us to quickly help customers realise the benefits of 3D metal printing.”

Varinex supports small and large business partners in Hungary and was the first to introduce Additive Manufacturing in the country twenty-three years ago. It has experience in prototyping, small-series production, and rapid tool making, and additively manufactures thousands of parts every year. Along with Xact Metal, Varinex represents other manufacturers in Hungary, including Stratasys, MakerBot and SCANTECH.

Gomez added, “The sales and service partnership with Varinex complements Xact Metal’s aim to support customers locally within Hungary. Varinex’s experienced and technical team is dedicated to 3D printing equipment and service, making them a great partner for Xact Metal as we continue our journey.”
