Presentations invited for 2022 ICAM
The ASTM International Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AM CoE) has invited presentation submissions for the 2022 ASTM International Conference on Additive Manufacturing (ICAM 2022). The conference is scheduled to take place October 31–November 4 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
ICAM 2022 will consist of twenty-seven symposia covering major topics and key areas. It is organised by over 100 scientific committee members, advanced manufacturing experts from industry, academia, government and regulatory agencies, national labs, and more.
Authors are invited to submit an abstract, outlining the scope of their presentation aligned with one of the conference topics, including:
- Feedstock materials
- Fatigue and fracture
- Mechanical testing
- NDE
- Defence
- Space
- Construction
- Industry 4.0
- Robotics

ICAM 2021 featured a five-day hybrid event including over 475 sessions, eleven live panel sessions, seven keynote addresses, seventeen awards presented, and more than 850 registrants from over thirty countries. The 2022 conference is expected to involve more ASTM committees and external stakeholders in an effort to set the stage to exchange the latest developments in the field of AM with emphasis on the transition of research to application.
