Aerospace Additive Manufacturing Summit to run in Toulouse this December
The second Aerospace Additive Manufacturing Summit (AAMS) is set to take place in Toulouse, France, at the Diagora-Labège congress centre from December 3–4,2019. Organised by abe-advanced business events and the Aerospace Valley competitive cluster in partnership with Ad’OCC, the two-day event’s inaugural edition in 2017 welcomed over 400 participants from fifteen countries and more than 200 companies.
The first day of the Aerospace Additive Manufacturing Summit will incorporate a number of round tables on topics relevant to this sector, while the second day will consist of a range of business to business meetings and workshops, during which participants will have the opportunity to work together in order to address solutions to challenges that have been raised.
Some of the topics featured at AAMS will be:
- Trends for the Additive Manufacturing market over the next five years
- How the aerospace field is positioned for these trends
- How Europe and France are positioned for these trends
- The most promising technologies in AM for aerospace
- How investments can be financed
These topics will be explored by representatives from ArianeGroup, Dassault Aviation, Safran, ESA, GKN Aerospace, Premium Aerotech, Liebherr, Fraunhofer research centre, the Politecnico di Torino, the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing and more.
