Organisers of TCT Japan have confirmed that next year’s event will take place at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition centre in Tokyo, Japan, from January 29–31, 2020. Following a successful collaboration in 2019, that saw the show’s re-branding from 3D Printing Japan to TCT Japan, it was announced that the three-day event will continue to be organised by Rapid News Publications Ltd and JTB Communication Design Inc., after agreeing a ten-year deal.

According to TCT Japan, the event will draw industry professionals together in Tokyo to address the challenges of Additive Manufacturing, as well as helping to drive greater adoption of technologies across industries.

Duncan Wood, Chief Executive of Rapid News Publications Ltd, stated, “The debut edition of TCT Japan is a great platform for us to build on. Many commentators suggest that Japan is behind the curve in adopting additive technologies and this long-term deal will enable us to invest in creating a world-class event that really does have an impact on adoption levels and ultimately on the market size in Japan. I would encourage all of our global clients from the TCT portfolio to join us to pioneer growth in this market together in the coming years.”

“Our cooperation with Rapid News for TCT Japan’s first edition was a huge success,” stated Takahiro Matsui, Director, JTB Communication Design Inc. “This long-term deal demonstrates that we believe we can bring global trend across AM and 3D printing into the Japanese Market. We promise that TCT Japan will deliver innovation across all industries and sectors.”
