Registration now open for the tenth Laser Additive Manufacturing Conference
Registration is open for Laser Additive Manufacturing Conference (LAM) 2018, set to run from March 27-28 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois, USA. Organised by the Laser Institute of America (LIA), the professional society for lasers, laser applications and laser safety worldwide, this is to be the LAM conference’s tenth consecutive year.
The conference programme will feature presentations on where and how Additive Manufacturing concepts can be applied, with a focus on laser-based AM. Among the topics featured will be:
- Additive Manufacturing Applications
- Selective Laser Melting
- Laser Metal Deposition
- Design for Additive Manufacturing
- Process Monitoring
- Metal Feedstock
- 3D Software Tools
LAM 2018’s final day will overlap with the first day of LIA’s Lasers for Manufacturing Event (LME), March 28-29, an exhibition designed to increase the awareness and application of lasers in manufacturing. LME will also cover Additive Manufacturing, alongside other laser-based technologies. Registration to LAM 2018 includes access to the exhibit.
Registration is open at a discounted rate for members and non-members of LIA until February 1, 2018.
