formnext 2017 to host programme of leading industry speakers
The organisers of formnext powered by tct have revealed a programme featuring a number of leading industry speakers, to take place across the event’s four-day conference programme. Now in its third year, formnext has evolved into an essential event for the Additive Manufacturing and metal powder industries.
According to the organisers, this year’s conference, taking place from November 14–17 in Frankfurt, Germany, will feature insights from forty-nine leading industry experts on the current applications of Additive Manufacturing and how they believe the latest technological advancements will influence product development and industrial production in the future.

Due to the continued growth of the industry and the event, this year’s conference programme will be held across two stages, the organisers have stated. “With the conference now on two stages for the first time, the event will deliver not only twice as many presentations, but will represent more intensively the entire bandwidth of the topics and technologies shown in the exhibition halls. Discussions will include key aspects such as automation, design, quality assurance, personnel and value-added chains.”
In addition, the organisers report a 50% growth in exhibitor numbers since 2016, and formnext’s exhibition floor space has almost doubled – from 15,500m2 in 2016 to around 27,000m2 this year.
