AnyShape adds two EOS M 400-4 machines for aerospace and defence production

AnyShape, based in Villers-le-Bouillet, Belgium, has strengthened its industrial metal Additive Manufacturing capacity with two new EOS M 400-4 Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) machines.
Each machine features four 400 W lasers and a build volume of 400 × 400 × 400 mm. This is intended to enable the production of large and complex metal components while providing the productivity and repeatability required for industrial applications.
The two systems have been configured to support several ongoing aerospace and defence programmes. AnyShape plans to use the machines for the production of components in aluminium alloys, including Scalmalloy, as well as large, high-performance parts in titanium alloys.

Both EOS M 400-4 machines are currently undergoing qualification for several OEM customers. The qualification activities are intended to support the transition of demanding applications to repeatable series production.
