Liberty Additive opens Texas warehouse for AM materials
Liberty Additive has opened a new warehouse and distribution facility in Katy, Texas, USA, expanding its inventory and logistics capabilities for customers across North America. The new warehouse expands Liberty’s operations and is intended to strengthen support for customers in the aerospace, defence, energy and broader advanced manufacturing sectors by increasing inventory and improving order fulfilment of speciality metal powders and other Additive Manufacturing materials throughout North America.
Liberty Additive stated that it generated more than $6 million in sales during its first eight months of operation, reflecting what the company described as strong demand for its Additive Manufacturing materials.
“This new warehouse represents an important investment in our future and in the customers we serve,” stated Nick Oyer, President of Liberty Additive. “As demand for high-performance Additive Manufacturing materials continues to grow, expanding our operations allows us to improve lead times, increase inventory availability, and better support the critical industries that rely on dependable supply chain performance.”
He continued, “While many suppliers advertise materials as in stock, customers often wait a week or more before orders actually ship. At Liberty Additive, we are committed to setting a higher standard. If your material is in stock, your order will ship within twenty-four hours – and in many cases, the very same day. This commitment ensures our customers receive the speed and reliability they need to keep their operations moving.”
The Katy facility will stock a range of speciality alloys, including Inconel 718, Inconel 625, titanium alloys and Constellium’s CP1 aluminium powder. According to the company, these materials have been available from stock since July 1, 2026, and pre-orders for the initial CP1 inventory shipment are currently being accepted.
In addition to expanding storage and distribution capacity, the facility has been designed to streamline logistics operations and support Liberty Additive’s continued growth as a supplier of metal powders and other Additive Manufacturing materials.
