Additive Companion AM platform now live with 400+ case studies

The Additive Companion, an Additive Manufacturing reference resource and community platform, is now live and publicly accessible.
The site is intended to act as a free resource for anyone interested in discovering more about Additive Manufacturing within a technology- and company-agnostic environment. Users can discover suitable technologies, providers and mentors that may help support the adoption of Additive Manufacturing.
The primary pathway within the site is through an archive that contains over 400 curated, classified case studies that offer detailed information about the full spectrum of Additive Manufacturing technologies as well as the relevant manufacturers and suppliers of each.
Now live, the site also aims to build a community of users who will be invited to submit their own case studies, additions, updates and corrections to the site, thus keeping the information as comprehensive, complete and accurate as possible.

Additive Companion’s founders also plan to develop more explicitly educational versions of the site, highlighting the diversity of applications in the Additive Manufacturing sector to inspire the next generation of designers at every level.
Additive Companion was founded by Jonathan Rowley, Nicolas de Cordes and Alessandro D’Urso. Rowley will give a presentation about Additive Companion at Formnext on Thursday November 20th at 14:50 CET. He will discuss the platform’s origins, the goals behind it, how it works and how user input will help shape it.
