GKN Powder Metallurgy (GKN PM) is currently showcasing its range of parts, powders, and electrification solutions at The Battery Show, taking place October 6–9 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Components for battery systems, electronics, e-drivetrain, x-by-wire, thermal management, and magnets will be on display from both its Sinter Metals and Additive divisions.

The 2025 event, held at Huntington Place in Detroit, focuses on advanced battery, EV, and energy storage technologies. It brings together businesses from around the world to share advancements in the battery value chain, including battery cells and packs, materials, testing, thermal management, recycling, and EV integration.

GKN PM’s portfolio consists of a broad range of solutions that are essential for vehicle electrification. A new range of battery precursor materials is now available, including lab-scale, battery-grade iron phosphate and iron for LFP applications. The offering also contains custom powder formulations and high-surface-area (HSA) materials with tunable particle size, morphology, and accessible porosity.
