GKN Powder Metallurgy showcasing metal powder solutions at The Battery Show

GKN Powder Metallurgy (GKN PM) is currently showcasing its range of parts, powders, and electrification solutions at The Battery Show, taking place October 6–9 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Components for battery systems, electronics, e-drivetrain, x-by-wire, thermal management, and magnets will be on display from both its Sinter Metals and Additive divisions.

The 2025 event, held at Huntington Place in Detroit, focuses on advanced battery, EV, and energy storage technologies. It brings together businesses from around the world to share advancements in the battery value chain, including battery cells and packs, materials, testing, thermal management, recycling, and EV integration.
“The Battery Show provides GKN PM with an ideal opportunity to demonstrate our solutions and technology when it comes to vehicle electrification, in particular,” said Paul Tuckey, Senior Commercial Director Americas. “We’re dedicated to enabling innovation through our comprehensive range of technology solutions designed to help our customers operate at peak efficiency. Events like this give us a powerful platform to connect with the market, share our expertise, and demonstrate the full scope of what we offer.”

GKN PM’s portfolio consists of a broad range of solutions that are essential for vehicle electrification. A new range of battery precursor materials is now available, including lab-scale, battery-grade iron phosphate and iron for LFP applications. The offering also contains custom powder formulations and high-surface-area (HSA) materials with tunable particle size, morphology, and accessible porosity.
Visitors can find GKN PM in Exhibit Hall B at Booth 3433.
