Rajiv Tandon has been appointed Technical Director of Metal Powder Group

Metal Powder Group, Stockholm, Sweden, has named Rajiv Tandon as its new Technical Director. Tandon is an experienced technologist, noted as having a deep understanding of metal powder processing, specifically in process development, powder production, and powder metal characterisation.

“I am pleased to have Rajiv joining us at Metal Powder Group,” stated Greg Chirieleison, Group CEO. “He brings a wealth of powder processing experience and will ensure our customers receive top-quality tech support and engineering assistance. I look forward to seeing the innovations and improvements he will bring to our family of companies.”

Tandon has previously held positions at Phillips Metal Injection Molding, Parmatech, Amulaire Thermal Technology, Magnesium Elektron Powders, Luxfer Magtech, and Chemalloy. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a PhD in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Penn State University.
