AMA Conference 2018

Additive Manufacturing in Aerospace (AMA) 2018 is a cutting-edge forum presenting the newest developments in the field of Additive Manufacturing. Focusing on the aerospace industry the symposium also intends to promote the exchange of experiences between different industries (automotive, power, etc) and application-oriented research institutes.

Special focus for 2018 will be on challenges in serial production of metallic AM parts. The presentations are going to address well-established manufacturing methods such as powder-bed metal and emerging methods like direct metal deposition.

The programme is structured into six sessions and a panel discussion:

Wednesday, September 19th:

Session 1 – Process Chain for AM Serial Production

Session 2 – AM Related Light-weight Design

Session 3 – Part Testing and Quality Assurance

Panel Discussion – Challenges of AM Serial Production

Thursday, September 20th:

Session 4 – High Production Rate AM Technologies

Session 5 – Oral Poster Presentations

Session 6 – Data Handling and Simulation-driven Solutions
