Digital Manufacturing Investor Day 2022 to place in March

February 10, 2022

Dyndrite, headquartered in Seattle, Washington, USA, has announced that its Digital Manufacturing Investor Day (DMID) will take place on March 2, 2022. The event, established as a response to COVID-19, aims to provide a virtual space where Additive Manufacturing and digital manufacturing companies can showcase solutions and technologies to the investment community.

“With the negative impact of COVID on travel, I originally conceived of the Digital Manufacturing Investor Day (DMID) as a way of helping emerging companies build investor relationships virtually,” stated Harshil Goel, CEO and founder of Dyndrite. “In speaking with the community, we all agreed: A forum that connects emerging AM companies with the investment community is a needed event – especially with the rise in announcements of companies leveraging public markets.”

Last year’s DMID event connected twelve AM companies with over 300 venture capital and private investment firms from around the globe. This year’s event focuses on later-stage companies, some of which have already gone public. The full line-up of the DMID including keynote speakers, panellists and presenting companies will be announced on February 14, 2022.

“We are honoured to be able to host an event of this calibre with Dyndrite, a company that epitomises the digital transformation revolutionising the world of manufacturing,” added Christian Hartenberger, Head of Industrial Technology Investment Banking at BNP Paribas, the sponsor of this year’s DMID. “With the plethora of new and exciting companies and technologies populating the Advanced Manufacturing ecosystem, it is more important than ever for investors to be able to identify and build dialogues with founders and management teams at the forefront of manufacturing innovation. We believe that DMID provides a unique opportunity to meet a diverse set of AM participants in a highly interactive setting.”

In addition to presenting companies, DMID 2022 will also host a live panel composed of experts from across the industry. This panel will also provide feedback and guidance to the presenting companies live during the event.

Thus far, announced speakers include:

  • Christian Hartenberger
  • Harshil Goel
  • Steve Chillscyzn (CEO, Evolve Additive)
  • Lou Rassey (CEO, Fast Radius)
