3YOURMIND, Berlin, Germany, has appointed Bas de Jong as Chief Operations Officer and Managing Director, a role in which he will oversee the company’s strategic and daily operations with support from Aleksander Ciszek, co-founder and CEO. He assumes this role from his previous position as Chief Commercial Officer.

Jong succeeds former COO Stephan Kühr, co-founder, 3YOURMIND, who will transition to serve on the advisory board. As a board member, Kühr will continue to oversee and provide strategic leadership for the company.

“It was my dream to start 3YOURMIND and transform it from an idea into a globally successful company,” stated Kühr. “I’m so happy to have an amazing team and management with whom I am confident will continue to grow 3YOURMIND successfully moving forward.”

With over eight years of experience in the industry, de Jong has helped companies adopt cost-saving Additive Manufacturing technologies. Previously, he helped build Ultimaker, a premier AM machine manufacturer, as Head of Global Business Development. In his latest role at 3YOURMIND, de Jong will leverage his customer-centric approach to sales and operations to advance software adoption for on-demand manufacturing.

“3YOURMIND continues to push boundaries in Additive Manufacturing software,” commented de Jong. “We solve the biggest problems in our industry: identifying and qualifying the right applications to demonstrate and realise the value of AM. It is very exciting to work with such a great team of dedicated people and help our customers scale 3D printing.”
